Vet Up: Take your pet to a veterinarian at least once a year to make sure they are current on vaccinations and are parasite free. Pick Up: Pick up your pet’s waste and dispose of properly. Or, as the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District likes to say, “Pick Up Poop!” Don’t flush it down the toilet. Put it in a bag and throw it in the regular trash. Keep the environment where you live, work, and play free of debris and garbage. Don’t let water sit anywhere still for more than a day or it can be a great spot for mosquitoes to breed. |
